what service will look like this sunday

Faith family,

We're so excited to be reentering our building for church this Sunday!

Things are going to look a little different from what we're used to, but Faith will be a safe place to gather️, worship and receive God's Word.

For those of you who are ready, we hope you join us at 9AM or 11AM this Sunday. If you're not able to gather in-person just yet, join us online at 9AM, 11AM or 7PM at live.faith.churchFacebook or YouTube. We're here when you're ready.

We've put together THIS VIDEO to show you what Sunday will look like.

Also, here's a helpful list of things you'll want to know.

  • We'll smile and wave instead of hug, shake hands or fist bump.

  • Childcare is available for babies through pre-K, but classes for K-5th grade won't open quite yet. Children are always welcome in the Family Worship Center! If you're a parent, our KIDS Director, Desiree, HAS A MESSAGE JUST FOR YOU.

  • We won't provide food, but our kitchen staff will serve coffee.

  • Masks won't be required, but our Impact Team members will be wearing them.

  • If you're not feeling well, have had recent contact with someone with coronavirus, consider yourself vulnerable or are uncomfortable with any potential exposure, please participate in service online.

  • Thorough cleaning of the Family Worship Center and restrooms will happen before and after each service.

  • Ushers will provide direction as you find your seats. Help us maintain physical      distancing by putting several seats between you/your family and another person/family.

  • We won't hand out printed updates or message notes for the live services.

  • For those who prefer to give in-person, boxes will be placed around the Family Worship Center. You can also give online, by text (text FAITHARVADA to 77977 or by mail (12189 W. 64th Ave., Arvada, CO 80004).

Sunday is our favorite day of the week!

Pastor Jason

reentry announcement

Faith family,

Gathering together is a part of church. There's something about human nature that longs to connect with others. And there's something special that happens when we gather together in corporate worship. It's part of what we do.

Pastor Nathan and I want to share some background on us reentering the building for Sunday services this Sun., June 7! Please take a look.

Because we love each one of you and we love our neighbors and community, reentry will look like this:

  • Two services at 9AM and 11AM will allow us the space for proper physical distancing. There will be plenty of seats for you to spread out as you chose.

  • For those who aren't ready to return in-person, online services will be livestreamed with a host pastor and live chat at 9AM, 11AM and 7PM at live.faith.church

  • We'll smile and wave instead of hug, shake hands or fist bump.

  • Childcare will be available for babies through pre-kindergarten, but classes for kindergarten through 5th grade won't open quite yet. Children are always welcome in the Family Worship Center!

  • Your safety is important to us. We are taking several additional precautions that we will share with you in a follow-up e-mail coming later this week. Please keep an eye out for that as it will answer many questions.

While you'll see some face masks (and a lot more hand sanitizer), we hope it will feel like coming home! We can hardly wait to see you!

With love,

Pastor Jason

FAITH REOPENING UPDATE

May 4, 2020

Faith family,

You may be wondering, like us, when church will reopen. There are ongoing conversations of when restrictions will begin to loosen and people are looking for a few positive signs of a return to normalcy, but for now, we’re unable to reopen just yet.

As you know, our weekend services and ministry environments aren’t conducive to social distancing. And social distancing continues to be one of the ways we can love our neighbors and protect our families.

We’re evaluating several potential scenarios to implement for when we are able to safely meet in our building. In the meantime, you, your family and your neighbors can gather online ever

y Sunday and experience our drive-in church services on certain Sundays. As of right now, we plan to continue that through the month of May.

Or course, we’re following COVID-19 announcements carefully. We’ll continue to closely monitor the situation and will keep you posted when there’s an update to share. In the meantime, keep pursuing the hope of Jesus in this time!

As Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians in I Thess. 2:17 says, “Brothers and sisters, we were separated from you for a while physically but not in our hearts. We made every effort in our desire to see you again face-to-face.”

We long to see each other in person! With eager anticipation we await that day! In the meantime, though, God is at work. Don’t miss what he’s doing in this season! Keep being a light, keep loving, keep praying and keep giving all to the glory of God.

Lastly, but more importantly, we are here for you! If you need prayer or have other needs, simply all our Faith Cares hotline at 303.403.2715 or e-mail faith.cares@faith.church.

Much love to my family,

Pastor Jason

covid-19 update

March 13, 2020

I want you to know we are praying for you and your family in light of the Coronavirus situation. I also want to remind you that our God is on the throne.

In times like these, the enemy's desire is to bring fear or dismay, but I want you know that fear is a liar. Our God's the God of peace, courage and faithfulness. We in His Kingdom can press forward by faith.

Together, let us remember the words of the apostle Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:7.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

In this brief season, which will absolutely pass, this is my prayer for you out of Romans 15:13:

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Finally, from a place of wisdom and not fear, we've made some plans about this coming Sunday and events this weekend that I wanted to share with you verbally. Please watch this two-minute video.

  • All activities and events held at Faith's facilities will be postponed/rescheduled. This includes FSM, Celebrate Recovery, Small Groups that meet at Faith's facilities, etc.

  • Service will be held online this Sunday at 10AM. Join us live here. We'll have a live, interactive chat room, an online host and online prayer room to accompany the service.

  • For further updates beyond this weekend, visit this Web page check and out Instagram and Facebook using the handle @faitharvada.

We're incredibly grateful for our maintenance and cleaning crews who have been working diligently since the beginning to take extra precautions to sanitize and clean our buildings daily.

We'll continue to monitor the situation closely with input from local agencies and the CDC to assess the plan beyond this weekend.

Let's be on guard to pray for all of those impacted by the virus, as well as global health officials and agencies dealing with this situation.

I love you all, and I'm looking forward to all of us joining online together this Sunday!
