One Service FAQ

When will this happen?

On Sunday, March 1, we will move to one 10AM service. Instead of two services at 9AM and 10:45AM, we’ll come together for one, combined service at 10AM every Sunday starting March 1 and moving forward.

Why is this happening?

When we bring everyone together, the energy changes.  It unifies our hearts and allows us to pursue Jesus with all that we have together.  We've been blessed with an incredible facility with lots of space, so it's with excitement and anticipation that we look forward to having the entire church family worship together with one voice.  Please partner with us to create great momentum for 2020 and beyond!

Will services change prior to March 1?

Nope! Keep coming at 9AM or 10:45AM through the month of February.

Will the length of services change?

No. We plan to keep our Sunday gathering time to 1 hour and 15 minutes, yet moving to one service will allow more flexibility to press in when God would lead us to do so.

Will adults classes continue?

Yes. We’re setting aside 8:30-9:30AM as our Adult Learning Hour. This is the period of time when classes such as Growth Track, In Pursuit, the engaged couples class, and more will be offered. (See below for Adult Learning Hour childcare.)

Will KIDS classes change?

KIDS classes will continue with incredible fun and engaging teaching to help kids get closer to God during the 10AM service. Drop your kids at the same location you currently use, but at the new time. In addition, starting March 1, for parents who are participating in classes such as Growth Track, In Pursuit, the engaged couple class, and more, childcare will be available for the pre-service Adult Learning Hour, which will run from 8:30-9:30AM. Sign your kids in as usual and take them to these rooms:

Infants-2 years old: Room 148

3s-K: Room 240

1st-5th Grade: Room 220 (Treehouse)

What does this mean for teens/FSM?

Nothing. FSM will continue to meet to offer worship, teaching, Small Groups and fun for high schoolers and middle schoolers on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30PM on the East Campus. Families with teens can worship together at 10AM on Sunday mornings.

Will the Chapel venue continue?

Yes. Service will continue in the Prayer Chapel, but at the new 10AM service time.

Any tips for parking?

We would love for all families with elementary schoolers to park on the East Campus (where 1st-5th grade classes are) and walk across the bridge. Anyone else willing to park on the East Campus will help make room for guests to park on the West Campus.
